Directions to San Carlos, Sonora
Yes, you made
the right decision coming to San Carlos. It doesn't matter how you get here, as
long as you do make it here! Once you've spent a little time on this beautiful
seaside community you'll understand why we love it so much.
Getting here by
Air:
 Citizens
returning to the U.S. by air are required to have a passport.
Guaymas Airport (GYM) is only an hour flight from Phoenix Airport (PHX), and
only about 15 miles from San Carlos. You can also fly into Hermosillo Airport
(HMO) and complete and take a bus 75 miles to San Carlos.
Getting here by
Car:
Citizens returning to the
U.S. by car are required to have proof of citizenship such as a passport or a
birth certificate and photo ID.
From Tuscon take Interstate 19 South toward Nogales for about 50 miles. A few
miles before the border at Nogales take Exit 4, Mariposa Road, Highway 189
South. Take the first right after the exit and and follow signs to the border.
After crossing the border stay on Mexico Highway 15 South and for about three
hours and follow signs to Hermosillo. The Condos are just a little over an hour
from Hermosillo. Before Guyamas look for the exit for San Carlos. At the first
traffic circle get off at 1st Street. Follow signs to Bahia Delfin.

TUFESA Bus Lines offers
service from Phoenix (602-415-9900 ex.9902) and Tucson (
520-670-1534) to Hermosillo and Guyamas.
TBC Buslilnes also offers service from Phoenix (602-258-2445) and Tucson
(520-903-2801).
